Kenzie – Newborn

This sweet girl was from this belly. She’s a tiny little thing – she felt like she weighed nothing! She was such a good baby – she slept so well for her posed shots. She’s a pretty loved baby — She’s got 3 older siblings who are completely in love with her – they all wanted to hold her during the session, especially her older sister Becca. I’ve really enjoyed getting to hang out with this family. Stephanie and Kyle also seem to be just as in love with their new baby as her siblings are, and I can definitely see why. I don’t think I could say it enough – she was just so sweet!

Thanks for the session, Stephanie and Kyle, and congratulations on the arrival of Miss Mackenzie!

Felix – Newborn

I was so excited to hear of this new little one’s arrival. I did his older sister’s newborn session almost 3 years ago, just after I started my business. Quinn and Darren are such wonderful, attentive parents and now Felix has made his arrival into their family. He was such a good little guy – He was a snacker, so we stopped to feed quite often, and in between feedings, I was able to snap away. Soleil did great while waiting for her turn – I’m pretty sure that she was waaay smarter than she was at our last session in March. I’m sad to hear that this family is moving to Winnipeg – Good luck on your move, Quinn and Darren!

Thanks so much for the wonderful sessions – I loved having the opportunity to capture such an amazing time in your lives. Congratulations on the arrival of Mister Felix.

Peyton – Fresh Baby

Watch for more of these sessions over the next few months – there are a few booked! I am so excited for this new adventure.  This is a whole new chapter for me – I’m beginning to take on Birth Photography clients, and am offering Fresh Baby sessions. Contact me if you’re interested in a session – there will be some super deals on them while I build my portfolio. I am taking clients within Central Alberta, and have limited space available throughout the year in Edmonton and Calgary.

This little girl was super new when we did this session – Just 2 days old!  Kaylene and Mathew are so in love with their new little addition, Peyton – who is a such a sweet girlie. I hung out with this new little family for about an hour on Friday afternoon once they got home and settled. Peyton is one lucky little girl to have such great parents.

Congratulations again, guys – She’s gorgeous! Thanks for letting me come photograph such an amazing time in your lives.

A, K and L — Newborn

I was so excited once I heard that this little lady had arrived. Kylie and Lane welcomed their daughter Allie almost 2 weeks ago in Fort McMurray. She’s such a cute tiny girl, with tons of hair that forms a sweet little natural mohawk! She’s also a very loved little person. She didn’t sleep super well for our session, but we still managed to get some super sweet posed images of her.

Congratulations Kylie and Lane! She’s super sweet.

Introducing Nixon – Fresh Baby Session

This is a whole new chapter for me! I’m beginning to take on Birth Photography clients, and have done my first Fresh Baby session. Contact me if you’re interested in a session – there will be some super deals on them while I build my portfolio.

Baby Nixon was born just before midnight on March 7th. I had originally planned on going down to capture the birth, but the weather didn’t cooperate and I went down to Calgary on Friday morning instead. Katie and Eric were so in love with their new little son, and his big sister, Keelyn thought he was pretty cool, too. I had so much fun capturing this family as they snuggled their new tiny addition. Keelyn asked why we were taking pictures, and Katie responded perfectly with “We’ll never have another first day with Baby Nixon again.” And it’s true. To me, these images are so so important, and I really look forward to being able to capture more first moments and first days with new families.

Thanks so much for allowing me to come see you at such special time, Katie and Eric. Congratulations, Nixon is perfect!
