Our new daughter, Cadence Lauren was born on December 29th. It’s taken me too long to post about her – although, it’s taken me too long to attempt to get some images of the girls together!!
I love my 2 girlies!

This little person is going to be our newest addition sometime in January. Because of this soon-to-be-arriving little bundle of pink (hopefully!) joy, I’m going to be taking a little bit of time off from December 20th 2011 until February 1st 2012. Emails and inquiries will still be responded to during this time, but it just might take me a little longer to get back to you!

This evening, the light was gorgeous. It made me happy that I had already planned to head out with my best friend, Trish, and her 2 kiddos for a quick session by my house. Allie, even though she’s getting over a cold, joined in, too!

Tiffany is my oldest friend – we’ve known eachother since we were little, and I was so happy to be in Banff this weekend, and witness her marry Mike. The weather was gorgeous, Tiffany was gorgeous, and well, Lake Louise was gorgeous! Tiffany has asked me to do her getting ready shots, and I took a few as their photographer, Bev was posing them. Here’s a peek at how I spent my weekend!

Last week, Chris, Allison and I had a family session with the awesome husband-wife team Rob and Lauren from Edmonton. For once, I was on the other side of the lens, and wow, it was sure different! But, the absolute hardest thing I had to do what try to choose what to wear! I thought about it for weeks, trying to figure out all the different things I could go with. I think I probably drove Chris slightly crazy over it – I finally decided on what to buy the night before our session! I’m pretty sure my husband was ready to divorce me as we were running around town, especially since I didn’t decide on my outfit until about 8:30, with the mall closing at 9. All while dealing with a very cranky, very tired baby. But, all was good, I got an outfit and hopefully, hopefully, we all tied in together nicely!
So imagine how excited I was when I came across this blog a few days ago – it’s geared towards family/newborn/child photographers, but has links to some amazing photographers around North America. And some of their posts are “What to Wear” inspiration! So, of course, I had to share them on here to hopefully help out some others, so they don’t have to run around like we did!
