Over the weekend, we headed to beautiful Swift Current, Saskatchewan – where my dad was born! We were there for my cousin’s marriage blessing. He got married in April in Vietnam, and him and his gorgeous new wife were in Canada for a few weeks. I wish that I had pictures of the ceremony to show off, but I had a cuddly sleeping baby in my arms. And well, that doesn’t happen too often anymore, so I’ll take it when I get it! We went there with my dad’s side of the family, and we had a great time! Of course, I took this opportunity to grab a few snaps to mark Allison’s first trip out of the province!
I also decided to take a few of Cole, my cousin. This was his first trip to Saskatchewan that he’ll actually remember – the last time we went, he was only about 5 years old, and doesn’t remember a thing! He’s one of the best 12 year olds I know, and Allison loves him! Thanks, Cole, for posing for me for a few minutes!
So this is the start of my new look – and I love it!!
