I was sooooo excited to blog this couple – I had an awesome time with them last night! Now, this may sound a little funny, but growing up in Fort McMurray, I was never EVER close to farm animals. We just don’t have farms up there. So when I was able to be literally FEET away from cows last night, I was seriously excited! But, really, I’m even more excited about how amazing these images turned out. When we left Red Deer, I was little worried that we’d have to turn around by the time we got to Rimbey, but the rain stayed away. The sky, the colors, and how much you can tell how much these two love each other make these some of my favorite images I’ve ever taken.

Katie and Tim, I loved you guys last night. I can’t wait for your wedding!

Michele and Blaise – Wedding

This weekend, I had the great pleasure of capturing Michele and Blaise’s wedding day! We started off in Sylvan Lake at their house for hair and makeup, and then headed out to Markerville for their ceremony. We did their formals around town, and then went back to Sylvan Lake to the Duffer’s Den at the Gold and Country Club.

I had so much fun at this wedding – I don’t think I’ve ever met a couple as special as Michele and Blaise. Everything about each of them is perfect for the other, and it was amazing to witness them get married!

Rhonda and Blendon – Wedding

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous wedding. I had such a great time all day! Everyone was so welcoming and loving. The morning started off the Green Apple Hair Salon in Parkland Mall, and then she headed back to her mom’s house to get ready. Rhonda and Blendon’s day couldn’t have turned out better – they had a small, backyard wedding – and it’s been 15 years in the making! The weather turned out to be amazing – a good surprise around Central Alberta lately.

Congratulations Rhonda and Blendon — Thanks for allowing me to capture such a special day in your lives!

JD and Kristy – Wedding

Here’s the first of a few weddings to come throughout the summer. Last weekend, I had the great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Kristy and JD. This couple was married at Evergreen Hall near Condor. The weather was perfect, and the day went by so fast! It’s amazing how quickly the hours pass when you’re so occupied with chasing around a such a great couple, their families and their guests. The day started off at Marvel for hair and makeup, then everything else was held at the hall. The ceremony was gorgeous, and the reception was a blast to watch – Lots of dancing, and good food!

I first met Christa and Jared in the spring, when I took pictures of their 2 beautiful kiddos, Haley and Alexa. I was so happy and honored to be able to capture their big day. They both looked amazing, and their day went oh-so-smoothly.
