I met with Barb, Scott and their 3 daughters, Shanyn, Amy and Katie at Coronation Park here in Red Deer over the past weekend. Shanyn is graduating high school and they wanted to have some images to mark this super special occasion. I had such a wonderful time with them – they were such a sweet family to photograph.

This family was one of the first couples I ever had the pleasure to photography – we met waaay back in 2010, only a few months into starting my business. I really love them, and how much they love their little guy, Cash. I can’t believe he’s already 2, and I’m pretty sure I wrote the same thing last year after his 1 year cake smash. He’s such a sweet, busy little guy and I always have so much fun with them for our sessions.

I was so excited to hear of this new little one’s arrival. I did his older sister’s newborn session almost 3 years ago, just after I started my business. Quinn and Darren are such wonderful, attentive parents and now Felix has made his arrival into their family. He was such a good little guy – He was a snacker, so we stopped to feed quite often, and in between feedings, I was able to snap away. Soleil did great while waiting for her turn – I’m pretty sure that she was waaay smarter than she was at our last session in March. I’m sad to hear that this family is moving to Winnipeg – Good luck on your move, Quinn and Darren!

This family is awesome – and they’re just going to get even awesome-r with the arrival of their new baby girl in a few short weeks. This evening was perfect for Stephanie and Kyle’s maternity/family session with their 3 kids – Ethan, Becca and Hayden. I love the way the light streamed through the trees at Barrett Park in Red Deer, and how much fun and cooperative all the kids were to photograph. Can’t wait for this little girl’s arrival – Watch for more of them on the blog over the next few weeks!

I can’t believe Blakley is already almost 1! It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long already. I’ve had the great pleasure of photographing this family 4 times now since last May, and each time is such a fun time. Jenni usually has everything planned out, and I love the way each session just flows so nicely. We did a bit of a cake smash in their backyard this time, and the older 2 got to get in on the cake fun, too. Narrowing down images for this blog post was hard – I love them all! So sad this family is moving – I’m going to miss these 3 kiddos. Leah is such a ham for the camera, and Max is so much fun to watch – he and Allison share the same birthday.
