Alexander’s Birth

This was probably the COOLEST and most amazing thing I’ve ever witnessed. This was the first birth I was ever present for as a witness, and it was probably the highlight of my almost 4 years in business so far. Pam and Mike allowed me into their home to capture the arrival of the third baby, Alexander in July. This little man was born just over 4 hours after the midwives broke Pam’s water.  Pam wandered around their property for the first little while coping with her contractions, and after that, went inside. She hopping in the tub, and labored there until she delivered Alexander.

After Pam was cozy in their bed, Mike went to get their daughters, Lily and Emma to meet the new addition. It was just such an amazing experience, and I can’t wait for my next birth session – the mama is due anytime now!
