2013 Favorites

After another small break, I’m returning to blogging! Finally – Watch for much more often updates – I have alot (okay, 38…) of blog posts to catch up on.

Holy cow, what a crazy busy year! 2013 was an AMAZING year! I can’t thank each and every one of you enough for allowing me to come into your homes and lives and allowing me to capture your families. This year, I’ve met so so many sweet, amazing and strong families, each with their own stories. This year, I met a mama who overcame cancer after the birth of her first child. I met a few women who wouldn’t have had their babies without the amazing possibilities of medical advancements.  I’ve photographed 3 generations a few times – one family even had 4! This year, I’ve even had the coolest experiences ever – actually watching and capturing births – so awesome and there are no words to totally describe it.

I’ve learned something new from each and every family that I’ve met, and it’s just been such a wonderful learning experience.

So here they are – a bunch of my favorite images from this year! Enjoy looking through them, because I sure did as I was trying to choose which one from each session to use.
